Tuning Fork
SKU:
Typically used in a therapy setting to evaluate hearing and vibratory sensation. In an athletic training setting these tuning forks are sometimes used to identify a possible bone fracture. In a study done by Emil Patrick Lesho in 1997, tuning forks were found to be up to 75% as effective as an x-ray or MRI in detecting a bone fracture. Not too bad for a rather crude, inexpensive instrument.
Measures approximately 6.75" x 1" x 2"
